- To start out the list of randoms, I have a friend whose with her baby at Vanderbilt who needs your prayers. Her name is Kim, and her sweet baby is 9 months old. She was born at 23 weeks gestation and has had a tough time, but was doing okay until she got sick. I think it started out as croup or pneumonia, but now she is on a ventilator. They have been trying to wean her off of it, but the last couple of days, her CO2 levels were too high, so they've had to stop. Please pray for this sweet little baby and her family. Her mom is with her, and her dad and 11 siblings are at home trying to survive without mom around.

new kicks and braces! We can really tell a difference in her balance too! |
|
- Zoe is all over the place...crawling from room to room now and trying to pull up on everything. She got her braces for her feet right after Christmas and some new New Balance shoes to wear with them. The shoes were courtesy of an anonymous donor who likes to provide shoes to special needs children. Lots of times children like Zoe need special shoes to accommodate the inserts/contraptions that their feet and muscles require to walk effectively. We are so very thankful for this blessing!

She practices her standing and walking quite a bit in here these days. |

see what we're dealing with here? can we say monstrosity? |
Anotherblessing...Zoe is doing so well, that we no longer need the stander! This is excellent news for various reasons: Zoe is progressing very well, we don't have to work it into the schedule everyday (or stress when we fail to work it in everyday), we get the space back in our living room, we get the space back in our living room, AND WE GET THE SPACE BACK IN OUR LIVING ROOM!! I realize this seems rather menial, but when we moved it out of the room for Abby's party and then again for Christams, we remembered how big the room looks and feels without it. It was with heavy hearts we moved it back after Christmas.
- I finally got our gallery sign finished and framed. I wanted to create a place in our home to display the girls' art work. We named our gallery "The Fridge Gallery."
- Zoe has accumulated such a collection of hair bows, that I finally made her a place to keep them.

Happy Birthday, Mommy! |
|
I had a birthday right after Christmas, and this is what I wanted...6-8 of them, enough to replace our old dining room chairs. I found a fantastic deal and was able to get 8 of them...the last 8 they had! They are very comfy, and they look really nice in our dining room. We didn't get a new table because I love the one we have now.
