First Post!

I am excited to say that this is my first post, and I am looking forward to starting my blogging journey. I am new to this, but I learned quite a bit during the process of getting my blog up and running. I look forward to having a place that family and friends can go to keep up with our family and with what we're doing, as well as connecting with others out there who may share some of our interests or values. While most of our immediate family lives very close, most of our extended family live quite a distance from us, and we rarely get to see them.
